Okay, we're talking savings, actually. But really, what's the difference? You either put, or KEEP the money in your pocket. So the question is:  Would you drive for 30 minutes to save your family $589? Most people would say, "Sure, sign me up!" Many millions of them would consider this not just an opportunity, but a lifesaver.

What if you or a loved one needed an MRI? Would the local "discount" cost of $1039 cause you to avoid the expense and extend the risk—and the pain? I get it; you're outraged by the very prospect. But how many people nationwide have faced the dilemma of Lindsay Clark, profiled by NYT medical journalist Sarah Kliff (https://bit.ly/2OBsZdr). Many, many thousands of people are literally scared off from the best Healthcare system in the world—by the cost.

So in my city, when your doctor advises "You need an MRI on this..." He might suggest sending you to the most popular Imaging provider that advertises a discount rate of $1039 (versus what they state is the "average" cost of $2279—they're probably right).

But a quick search reveals a possible budget lifesaver: A short 28-mile, 33-minute drive past downtown and across the river to our neighboring state gets you a top quality MRI (your doctor will be just as happy, and will get the results VERY fast) for $450.00.

Just an aside:  You're thinking, "WTH? I've got INSURANCE for this!" Yes, and you (and your employer) pay BIG for that coverage—every paycheck. But then there's the DEDUCTIBLE.

Oh, and this highly regarded Imaging clinic also advertises they'll get you in & out in about 30 minutes—they actually VALUE your time. So the projected $1178 per hour (savings) may even be a tad on the low side!

And how will you tell everyone you found out about it?  DOC$ of course. We're here to make medical prices transparent, competitive, and more affordable. Just jump to our page here to find out more.
