Our Invitation To Beta Test Doc$!  HealthCost Web!

It's no secret the hottest trends in consumer advocacy right now mostly target the largest segment OF the economy—Healthcare: "Out-of-Network" expenses, the US Congress taking up "Suprise Billing" legislation, the White House telling hospitals to post their "prices", and high-deductible health insurance plans (that's ALL of us who are "insured") among many other issues.

Enter a groundbreaking new consumer web tool: Doc$! Our vision is to present—here on this site—a powerful data-engine where consumers all over the US—in EVERY community—can search for the best deals on things like a recommended MRI, CT Scan, a physical therapy prescription, or any one of thousands of tests, exams, treatments, or procedures—routine or otherwise. The same consumers—users on this site—will "contribute" to the price comparisons by adding their own healthcare "reports."

So, why did YOU get this link? Because we're in the initial phase of testing our site, and we'd like your help. All you have to do is:

  • 1. Click here to Register and set up a user login (you can create a "UserName" that protects your anonymity—your email will ONLY ever be used to send you a password-recovery link should the need arise).
  • 2. Add some reports of medical/healthcare purchases from your bills, or insurance company "Explanation of Benefits" (EOB) reports. These can be yours, spouse, kids, mom or dad—anyone who is okay with participating in our beta test. We have a walk-through to help you build your first Healthcare price report.
  • 3. Give us any feedback you have on the site, the experience, any suggested improvements, etc. to include comments you may want to leave at support@docscost.com or directly on the message we sent you with this link. We'd like any ideas, observations, critique, etc. you may have, whether you choose to participate in the beta-test or not.

If you're the a/v type, we have a very short cheesy-intro-video of our web app that is embedded below. For now, thanks very much for taking a minute.
